This year marks the official launch of our local Nail Trim Clinic events!

Our monthly nail spas brought to you by our new venture title “St Clair West Pets” (@SCWPets on Instagram) have begun booking.

St Clair West Pets is the combined effort of Kris from Pawsitive Petcare, Shannie from the Doggos Grooming and Board, and Carmen, our resident TTouch Holistic Training Practitioner. We provide monthly nail spas to dogs, cats, bunnies and guinea pigs, which often include free photo shoots and small item sale toward local rescues and animal shelters!

INTRODUCING: FIRST EVER PARENT MIXER APRIL 30th

This has been a growing idea over the past year or so as I’ve had the absolute gift of listening to pet parents’ fan-favourite the Pawsitive pets on our socials; I think everyone has a secret favorite that they would love to meet and give a big squish!

Considering this and the coming spring, we would like to organize a free pet-pawrent park crawl and mixer at Hillcrest for an hour or so on April 30th, 2023 (weather permitting).

Parents with pups who enjoy company can bring them out for socializing and meet and greet, treats and playtime; those who may want to leave their four-legged introverts at home are still welcome to come to meet our other Pawsitive Pet parents!

Pawsitive Petcare Kris and Dan will be handing out compostable doggy bags, garbage bags and gloves to help clean up the winter run-off of poops, trash, and other garbage from our parks – let’s get our community ready for a season of fun and safe outdoor play, give back to the environment and help pet pawrents meet other pawrents for future playdates or support!

In-Home nail trim price increase

A slight increase to in-home nail trim prices will be applied starting April 2023.

Our former price of 20$ + HST will increase to 25$ + HST going forward. Please feel free to inquire about our monthly nail trim clinics if you would like to book and save; we realize this is not an option for all pets, and we hope to continue to bring you safe and professional in-home trims for the seniors, the skittish, and the simply-not-into-pet-carriers!

KRIS AND DAN AWAY FRIDAY MAY 19th – MONDAY MAY 22nd

Kris and Dan will be away from the office for Friday, May 19th until Monday, May 22nd! As such, monthly clients will notice this day missing in their May invoices, and weekly clients will not be scheduled for these two dates. If you would require coverage during this time, please reach out to Kris, and they will try their best to accommodate in their absence!

SUMMER FUN AND SAFETY

Summer safety changes are just around the corner!

If this summer is anything like our last incredible two-month long heatwave, hour long walks will likely be shortened to half hours starting July 2023 until the end of August 2023. Walk length will be weather dependant come June/September, especially for larger/shorter coat pups. Please let us know in advance if you have any requests for summer safety re: length of walk time, apparel, changes to schedule or more.

We also encourage parents to leave a drying towel near to the door or pets’ items if you haven’t already – with mud season approaching fast, we aim to keep your paws, and your floors, clean!
